Erin Saxton
President • Founder • Media Strategist
Founder and president of The Idea Network, Erin Saxton developed the firm in response to an industry need for a new kind of agency capable of capturing the attention of the media. A four-time Emmy-nominated TV producer, Ms. Saxton has long been on the receiving end of PR pitches, having worked on shows that include The View, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Barbara Walters Specials, and Good Morning America. This extensive experience gives her an insider’s status that enables her to identify the concepts that resonate for television and radio producers. She knows the best ways to pitch a book, person, or product, and utilizes her professional skills and expansive contacts to generate strong media interest in the messages her clients wish to deliver.
Anders Bjornson
CFO
With a diversified background in both marketing and finance, Anders Bjornson combines these skills in his role at The Idea Network. His prior professional experience includes the position of general manager for The Fitness Company, where he was responsible for creating sales and marketing strategies for facilities in the New York metropolitan area. He has also been involved in the sale of stock for Oppenheimer & Co. Most recently, he has worked in the financial industry for Morgan Stanley, specializing in cash management and production expansion. Blending his expertise in these arenas, Mr. Bjornson is responsible for new business development, client relations, and finances for The Idea Network.
Allyson Klavens
Vice President • Media Strategist
Allyson Klavens is The Idea Network's primary contact person, serving as a liaison to help guide clients through the diverse aspects of the publicity process. Her role includes coordinating media placements, maintaining and trafficking status reports, and overseeing the writing of all publicity materials. Her background is in television, and includes the position of production coordinator for King World Productions, as well as work for Buena Vista Television and the ABC Network. She has also served with Erin Saxton as the east coast team for ABC's "The Great Domestic Showdown."
Jennifer Urezzio
Media Strategist
A seasoned professional specializing in media relations, Jennifer Urezzio has over ten years experience working at leading public relations firms such as Ketchum Public Relations, Hunter & Associates and MBooth & Associates. Her experience spans a broad range of campaigns that have posed a diversity of challenges—from touting medications that improve the life of the beloved family dog to publicizing concoctions that make people’s hair smell good. With a constant commitment to developing strategies that are both solid and compelling, Ms. Urezzio creates broadcast segments and media-relations plans that make the industry sit up and take notice. She is well known among members of the media, and has earned a reputation as the “producer’s PR professional.”
