Book MappingSM
Taking The Primary Impressions® to the next level, Book MappingSM implements the results of the analysis and creates broadcast segments that both highlight your book and spark producers’ interest. The agency’s inside track once again comes into play, as experience on the receiving end of pitches helps your strategic team zero in on the special aspects of your story that will turn heads.
Market Tours
A tour can be tailored expressly for you, or you can select one of two strategic service options for each market:
Strategy I
Strategy II
National Broadcast Efforts

The Idea Network can work with you to create a national broadcast campaign that delivers a targeted message to your audience. Your publicity team will develop strategies for your spokesperson, draft a pitch letter, and contact the national broadcast media—morning shows, evening news programs, and national cable outlets. Fees vary depending on the elements of the project.
Radio Tours
From coast to coast, The Idea Network has forged solid working relationships with some of the most popular national radio shows, including “First Light,” “Daybreak USA,” “The Joey Reynolds Show,” and “Doug Stephan’s Good Day.” The firm also has strong ties with top-rated morning radio programs in key markets such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Dallas.
Tapping into these alliances, The Idea Network will block a two-hour period for your spokesperson, and book radio interviews every seven minutes during that time frame. A three-hour period is recommended if the spokesperson is a celebrity, since recognized names are in high demand for these outlets. Interviews can be conducted via the spokesperson’s home or in the client’s office.
Services include:
Print Campaigns
The Idea Network has experience in pitching national newspapers, wire services, magazines, local market newspapers, and trade publications. Staff members have worked on behalf of businesses, consumer products, and celebrities. Each print campaign is budgeted according to individual client guidelines.
A History Of Results
The “who you know” concept of media placement is highly touted—and equally accurate. The ability to open doors with a well-placed phone call is the key to a successful public relations campaign. The Idea Network holds that key.
